Whilst there are no strict statutory requirements for a written employment contract, employers in Northern Ireland are legally obligated to provide employees with a written statement of terms and conditions within two months of starting employment. This statement, often referred to as the "written statement of employment particulars," should include certain key terms which Kmarc will help you with.
